Junior Information Security Engineer

1+ years of experience in securing endpoints, servers, infrastructures, and networks.
Understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, networking, and operating systems.
Experience with supporting security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM and WAF.
Practical experience in programming/scripting languages like Python, Bash, Powershell, and developing tools to automate operational tasks.
Upper intermediate spoken and written English level.
Strong self-motivation and orientation toward results.
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for tackling challenges, and commitment to collaborative teamwork.

Perform security monitoring activities to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner, utilizing SIEM and other security tools.
Participate in vulnerability management activities, including vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation coordination.
Contribute to endpoint security efforts, including implementing and maintaining endpoint protection platforms, antivirus software, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
Assist in network security tasks, such as configuring and maintaining firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), and other network security devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of security controls and practices with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Assist in documentation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies through continuous learning and professional development activities.
