    Requirements

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
    • 5+ years in the game industry
    • Passion for the entertainment industry and distributed development
    • At least three shipped title as a programmer, one as lead programmer
    • Outstanding experience in software architecture and design
    • Strong knowledge in Java programming, scripting language experience (ActionScript, PHP, Python, etc...), multiple hardware platforms and online experience
    • Excellent organizational communication and management skills with a strong desire to contribute to a unique creative environment by utilizing world-wide talent
    • Good oral and written English communication skills

    Bonus:
    • One shipped browser or online game
    • Knowledge of entity systems
    • Experience with relational database systems
    • Know how of 2D/3D graphic engines

    Responsibilities

    Your tasks:

    On a management level:
    • Manage a team of numerous programmers:
    o Manage performance and conduct evaluations
    o Staff programmers across multiple projects
    o Identify strength/weaknesses and training needs
    o Recruit new programmers
    • Must be knowledgeable about most technical areas of the game and works to distribute tasks to different members of the programming team

    On a content level:

    • Oversee programming department day to day operations
    • Work with the leadership team to define the technical strategy for upcoming titles
    • Collaborate with artists and designers to understand their needs and expectations for future development
    • Identify potential issues with respect to technical designs and come up with solutions as to how to avert them
    • Monitor efficiency
    • Communicate with other Ubisoft Studios
