Quality Technician - Manufacturing TM

Job Description

• Is responsible for product validation according to the specifications at start/restart of production. First piece and last piece check for each production batch;
• Is part of the problem-solving team in manufacturing regarding Jidoka process (production issues): find the root cause, define and implement short-term corrective action, marking and blocking affected parts, perform product validation after implementation of the corrective actions and check the effectiveness of implemented actions;
• Is responsible to administrate the block stock regarding raw materials, semi-finished and finished products (block materials in system and transfer to Quarantine area);
• Is responsible for management of non-conforming materials from production area: escalate issue to Project team, create non-conforming product/ material report and physical transfer of the parts in QMC/ WH in case of supplier issue;
• Is responsible for knowing company quality policy and the impact of his/ her activities in achieving quality targets;
• Is responsible for supervision and observance of quality rules, error avoidance and prevention (e.g. supervises the external workers, respecting of 5S, cleanliness and ESD rules, handling of parts, internal code of conduct);
• Is responsible for Safety relevant projects: the related tasks will be fulfilled according to the internal Safety Management Procedures/ Methods;
• Is responsible for control safety criteria in own area of responsibility. Develop, introduce, and drive measures to avoid safety cases;
• Has the authority to stop the line according to the defined internal procedure and follow escalation path;
• Support for training on the job of the new Quality Technician colleagues;
• Support for process qualifications and process capabilities studies;
• Support for preparation of customer and internal audits in the shop floor;
• Support for FPY and Scrap reports and for collect quality data from MES to consolidate reports;
• Support for process qualifications and process capabilities studies;
• Support for training of the operators outside core time regarding quality alert;
• Respects the confidentiality of information he/she has access to inside the company;

• Follows the instructions and requirements of management personnel inside the company;
