    TGS Romania, is the Romanian practice of TGS Global. TGS is represented in Romania by two successful firms Fidexpert Audit & TPG Group. Both companies have been active in the Romanian market for a considerable number of years (Fidexpert since 1994 and TPG from 2009).
    We are a dynamic provider of accounting, audit, tax and finance services. Our service offering, business approach and sector expertise is primarily designed to support Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, or organizations of equivalent scale, with existing or planned international operations.
    We have an employment force of 80 professionals (certified accountants, certified auditors, certified fiscal consultants) who have been trained to cater for the requirements of the most demanding clients.

    Requirements

    • Post Graduate Studies, in Accounting and Bookkeeping Information Systems, Audit, Finance, Insurance, Banks, Business Management or other relevant areas.
    • Holding a Romanian Chartered Accountant certification and Fiscal Consultant accreditation or an equivalent qualification – Any exceptions will be approved by the Managing Partner.
    • 9+ years of previous experience in a role that is directly related to the services provided to clients.
    • 5+ years of People Management experience.
    • Very good knowledge of operations on ERP and MIS systems.
    • Good coaching skills and team leading.

    Responsibilities

    • Allocates and overseas the relationship of direct subordinates with a clients’ portfolio of different sectors and manages the relationship with specific clients as allocated by the Partner in charge to secure customer satisfaction.
    • Liaises regularly with clients’ key managers to provide updates on the client’s business situation.
    • Acts, as assigned by the Partner in charge, as the TGS contact point with potential clients, to assess their needs, suggests (to the Partner in charge) the business proposition and follows up the proper implementation of any contract generated.
    • Supervises all accounting activities and oversees maintenance of the books of the clients’ organization including payables, receivables, inventories, fixed assets, and payrolls. Through the supervision ensures entry quality control of team members.
    • Develops maintains and updates clients’ accounting policies & practices.
    • Consolidation of accounts/ IFRS restatement to meet clients’ requirements.
    • Offers fiscal compliance advisory/ tax advisory (as the case may be) to the clients and ensures that these are properly invoiced and liaises with the Tax Advisory SSL/Head of Tax SSL for complex requests.
    • Acts as a Senior Associate/ Supervisory Associate in exceptional cases for specific important and/or sensitive clients as allocated by the Executive in case of temporary gaps of these roles in their teams.
    • Identifies potential opportunities to provide services to clients (cross-selling).
    • Assists the Partner in preparing the remuneration fee new and current clients and be involved in the discussion with the client.
    • Demonstrates strong technical skills & knowledge to identify risks, remedy options and risk minimization solutions.
    • Monitors, summarizes and communicates to client’s significant market trends, critical issues and news related to Finance & Accounting area.
    • Monitors, reviews and approves the timesheets of own team members
    • Manages interpersonal relations and inspires team members.
    • Provides clear information to team members on their prescribed expected business behaviors and deliverables vs assigned tasks and/or objectives.
    • Coordinates, prepares and finalizes team member’s performance evaluations on a timely basis.
    • Coaches and trains more junior people and provide technical advice/ support to the team.
    • Responsible for follow-up with clients on collection delays.
    • Conducts regular internal meetings with Managers and Team Leads for own portfolio to follow up the status of all active projects and escalates to SSL Lead when something is out of the ordinary.
    • Participates in the recruitment process, interviewing candidates for roles within own team, suggesting best fit candidates.
    • Proposes and develop methodologies to collect timely information concerning TGS activity and produce special reports which will support service line Partner to make sound business decisions.
    • Reports regularly to the Partner in Charge on the following:
    • Team members’ utilization and recruitment needs
    • Team members’ performance and any related issues
    • Actively identify, participate and support in the introducing more effective and efficient ways of performance of assignments through introduction of new digitalized techniques and tools, processes as well as training.
    • Participates in professional networking activities/events (conferences, presentations etc.) and PR activities representing the firm as assigned
    • Fills in own timesheets in time, complies to the allocated hourly budget of the assigned tasks, controls team’s budget and takes corrective actions in case of any deviation to secure efficiency and on time delivery.
    • Respects the deadlines. Escalates to his/her superiors any deviations proactively.
    • Supports other administrative and/ or operational tasks as assigned by the Partner in charge
