Requirements

In this position, you will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Requirements

At least 5+ years experience in financial controller roles, preferably in a retailer or consumer goods environment.
Advanced level of both spoken and written Ukrainian language is a must.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
The ability to produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
Extensive working knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
Be able to predict future trends, monitor cash flow, and maintain budgets.
Strong experience with accounting systems, ERP platforms (such as SAP, and NetSuite), and financial reporting tools
Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent organization and administration skills
Energetic and motivated personality with great multi-tasking
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Bachelors or Masters qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze key financial metrics, variance analysis, and management reports to guide decision-making.
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Monitor and analyze retail-specific KPIs, including gross margins, product profitability, and inventory levels.
Analyze variances between actual results and budgets, and propose corrective actions.
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Support month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Additional controller duties as necessary
