British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Corporate Finance Manager in Bucharest.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the carry out of financial processes and budget control according to regional planning requirements, facilitate timely and reliable information for the decision-making process.
- Consolidate financial information generated and report accurate financial position for a specific period.
- Analyze financial information, actuals as well as budgeted, validate its integrity and facilitate the decision-making process at all levels
- Coordinate month end closure activities.
- Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format.
- Update P&L/BS/CF based on latest input from relevant collaborators
- Prepare forecast report with the cause of change vs previous estimate
- Full inter-company recharges process (checking vs budget, coding the request, follow up with the approvers)
- Employment salaries track (HCT, adjustments, HR engagement, recharge completion - internal PO status)
- Projects/T&E costs track (BH/project owners engagement, PO status, travelling plan centralization)
- RSU Monthly Pos and Payroll centralization and reconciliation vs budgets
- T&A Yearly Calculation and review of true-ups, PYA and actual monthly/quarterly recharges
- Quarterly Employment Cost Analysis, including summaries/presentation on variance vs plan
- Quarterly Projects costs analysis
- Perform ad hoc analysis as the need arises for planning scenarios
- GL journal preparation/upload
- Control of P&L and BS actuals accuracy and performing of the reclasses if needed
- Check the run rates for PL/CF and take necessary actions to make sure that H1/FY is on track
- Support Budget holders for detailed forecast (prepare templates, review forecast, make BPC input)
- Prepare presentation for senior management budget review and get alignment on way forward
- Other ad-hoc activities (MDG requests, access requests, IC PO coding)
- Work independently and in cooperation with all team members and ensure the objectives are met on time, high accuracy and in full
- Able to identify technical opportunities to improve, refresh ways of working to help deliver high levels of performance
What are we looking for?
- Previous Finance experience
- Must be self-motivated, meet high professional standards and be able to focus on the levels of service offered to internal higher partners
- Good analytical skills, with focus on problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and keep to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Business Partnering skills - ability to develop good working relationship with key partners
- Ability to learn fast
- Previous Involvement in supervising employment cost
- Accounts Payable queries (POs, GRIR, invoices, payments etc) would be a plus
