British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst Accounts Payable - Issue Resolution in Bucharest.
This role is ensuring that all controls prior payment (Sox and Non-Sox) are performed in a timely and accurate manner, that all Tax journal postings, Sanctioned vendor related activities are delivered in line with internal/SOx controls, all sophisticated invoice corrections and queries are handled with high accuracy and in a business partnering manner etc.
The AP Senior analyst supports the operational delivery of the payments processing, as well as the automation agenda within RTP team: UATs, initiatives deployment, end market ad-hoc trainings and corrections.

Your key responsibilities will include:

o All Pre-Payment related activities: Partner Bank account selection, Pre-Payment SOx reports to support and ensure 100% accuracy for the payment process
o All Pre-Payment and Sox activities must be performed within tight cut-offs and in alignment with the standard payments calendar shared by Banking Ops team
o Apply with 100% accuracy all Sanctioned related controls within the end-to-end Invoice processing activities

o Problem solving oriented attitude, ensuring fast reaction in identifying and implementing solutions
o Recommend and deliver process improvements to build greater efficiency and productivity within R2P space

What are we looking for?
o Advance English skills - spoken and written
o 1 year experience in Finance & Accounting in a multinational corporation
o Good numerical and analytical skills
o Proficiency with Ms. Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
o Ability to handle high volumes of data entries with high accuracy
o Experience of working with SAP

o Optimally plan activities and put them into action
o Ability to connect with multiple collaborators
o Ability to meet deadlines, good time management
o Able to help, guide or explain current process, business decisions to others
o High attention to details and problem-solving skills
o Able to handle collaborators with high integrity and facilitate meetings and calls

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably with specialization in Accounting or Finance
o EU work permit - mandatory

Working relationship
Internal: End Market partners, BCT, Compliance, BOC, IDT, other GBS service lines, other R2P teams (BSC, BO, COUPA, CI, T&E, AP Analytics)
External: TCS, external consultants
