As a Hardware Engineer you will be part of a team which will support all our system infotainment
development projects in terms of PCB design, testing and validation
You are driven to high-quality deliverables and like taking initiative.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
We’re looking for someone who owns it and takes it to the next level not just someone who wants a job;
You will develop, test and verify the analog and digital functional blocks (e.g. Audio blocks, MCU/SoC
units) within complex hardware architectures considering quality, cost and suitability for series;
You will evaluate the telematics functions regarding requirements and feasibility as well as the
assistance in System Design / HW realization;
Your help will be appreciated in regards to the technical requirements specification of purchased parts
of telematics & connectivity functional blocks and in the evaluation and selection of suitable suppliers;
You will perform technical measurements on customer site (EMC, Thermal, functional);
We would appreciate any level of knowledge you may have about commonly used interfaces in
infotainment systems (PCIe, UART, TDM, Video-, I2C, I2S, USB …);
As part of hardware team, you will have a global cooperation with other departments, such as
Construction, Quality, Manufacturing and Software during the development process.
Your skills:
As an ideal candidate you have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering,
Telecommunications Engineering or appropriate graduation) along with proven knowledge of Hardware
development and verification of analog/digital applications and standalone functional units;
It would be important to have solid knowledge of tools for schematic/layout realization and simulation
(e.g. Mentor Graphics, SPICE) as well as Microsoft applications and basic knowledge of the
requirements inside the automotive area, especially for EMC;
Other than that, you should have good knowledge in spoken and written English;
Still, if you have at least 1 up to 3 years of experience as a hardware engineer, we will help you figure
out the rest.
