    Position Summary:

    The Software Test Automation Engineer is responsible for creating, executing and maintaining automated tests on specific software releases to ensure a minimum level of quality for each deliverable before the release of the software to the next team in the development process.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Review software specifications and testing procedures
    • Develop and maintain automated tests cases, testing tools based on project specifications
    • Execute automated tests for the presented software releases
    • Create and update documentation for the testing procedures
    • Create detailed reports of the executed test cases
    • Analyze error logs in order to help identify the root cause of a failure
    • Follow bug reporting and tracking process
    • Review test specifications and participate in the test validation review sessions
    • Contribute to the development of the Software Integration and Integration Test Strategy
    • Act according the standards of the Automotive industry and in-car applications

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other similar specialization
    • Minimum 2 years experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer
    • Good knowledge of C#
    • Experience working in Linux environments
    • Fundamental knowledge of Bash or other scripting language
    • Experience with Version Control Systems (Git is a plus)
    • Familiar with Continuous Integration tools (Bamboo, Jenkins are a plus)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Automotive software projects
    • Experience working with embedded systems
    • Knowledge of CAN testing tools (CANoe is a plus)

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Fluent in commercial and technical English
    • High sense of responsibility
    • Attention to details and good analytical skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Willingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on project necessities
