Varroc – Elba Electronics (VEE) is a Greenfield opened in 2019 as a joint venture between Varroc Lighting Systems and Elba. Focused on the manufacturing of electronics for the automotive industry, VEE is based in Timisoara, Romania.

Laurentiu Margineanu, the VEE Engineering manager, will guide you through the flow of producing PCBAs, their components, the way the SMT lines function, the technological and quality aspects.

You can find out a bit about how a plant is designed, the way the production lines are designed, how the processes are designed, documented and implemented and which is the final product.

Here are the main topics:

• How do headlamps and rear lamps look like?

• Which are their electronics elements?

• What is a PCB?

• What is a SMT line and how does it work?

• How are PBCAs produced?

• Students/master students or graduates from a faculty with an engineering specialization: automation, electronics, electrical and power engineering, management in production, mechanical engineering, quality, supply chain

• Enthusiasts about a career in Automotive Industry;

• Interested in an engineering career.
