Come be a part of this journey! BAT ROMANIA is looking for a Junior Finance Compliance Manager. SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced Professional FUNCTION: Finance LOCATION: Bucharest, Romania ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES This role is part of GBS ENA. The role is responsible for working closely with various teams across Finance and the organization to coordinate GBS’ Global Internal Controls & SOX requirements. You will help plan and execute the various aspects of the annual SOX Compliance program lifecycle and assist with testing requirements across the organization. Reports to: Senior Manager Reporting Level: Senior Management Geographic Scope: GBS ENA WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Offering support to GBS Managers to ensure controls are operating as per design
- Performing regular compliance monitoring within GBS Service Lines
- Offering support to control owners to assess and evaluate the action plans for control deficiencies and monitor their remediation promptly
- Collaborating closely with the Business Controls Team to address any identified control gaps
- Managing the creation of accurate and up to date information for internal reporting for GBS Management
- Offering support in Performing Risk assessments
- Being an internal ambassador for compliance to highlight the benefits of having proper internal controls in place and raising awareness of the three lines of defense within the Group
- Support with root cause analysis, identifying where controls are not operating and driving remediation through relevant business leaders
- At least 4+ years of financial experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Experience in similar Finance Shared Services/ Audit/ SOx would be considered a plus
- Advanced MS Office skills (with a focus on Excel mastery)
- Strong influential skills with the ability to lead others, conduct research, data analysis and solutions-oriented
- Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide internal and external audience
- Continuous improvement attitude
- Fluent English
