Finastra is currently seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our team Global Solutions Consulting Engineering (GSCE). This position offers exposure to working as part of the Pre-Sales team. We will provide you capabilities covering the domain knowledge and technical skills required of the target product line to equipped you in providing support to the sales process.

Knowledge & Skills:

Good technical, analytical, and development skills.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office.

Good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Requirements:

Final year of bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science preferred.

Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

Software development experience including design and development.

Intermediate knowledge with C++, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, Azure PaaS preferred.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, SQL preferred.

Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.

What you’ll do

Your deliverables as Software Engineer Intern will include the following:

Participates in software design meetings and analyses user needs to determine technical requirements.

Designs and develops high-quality code.

Tests, debugs, analysis and fixes application problems/issues. Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.

Follows the software development lifecycle process.

Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.

Other duties and projects as assigned.
