TechTalks Online is coming back with its well-known conference!

For the first subject we will talk about AI, VR, AR & Machine Learning.

The event will be online and will take place on the 20th of October, between 11:10 to 12:30. Here is the AGENDA:

Abstract

This talk will be focusing on the machine learning techniques that are currently used and their application in a research project named CERES. The project is focused on the identification and discovery of asteroids in astronomical images.

Speaker: Raul Urechiatu, Software Engineer @ Cognizant Softvision

I am a Java developer with an experience of 5 years. I have a passion for machine learning, therefore I graduated the Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Computing master program at West University of Timisoara.

Abstract

Microsoft Azure offers a complete platform for building applications that leverage the AI and security capability of the cloud. This session describes the AI services available in Azure, including Machine Learning and Cognitive Services, for building smart and secure apps. Chatbots, face recognition, voice synthesis, real time translation and content moderation are just a few of the features demonstrated in this session, along with quick code samples to get you started in minutes!

Speaker: Stefano Tempesta - Building Azure Confidential Computing @Microsoft Australia

Stefano Tempesta works at Microsoft in the Azure Confidential Computing product group to make the Cloud a more secure place for your data and apps. Additionally, as advisor to the Department of Industry, Australia, on the National Blockchain Roadmap, his current focus is on helping people gain and own their digital identity.

Stefano is also a technology advisor to Carbon Asset Solutions, a climate action and sustainability network with a mission to slow carbon dioxide emissions and remove excess atmospheric CO2 by using regenerative agriculture technologies.
