This session targets to bring some light in the unique challenges and opportunities the Automotive Industry is facing considering the increase in Vehicle Automation, Digitalization and Connectivity, making the Automotive Sector one of the most challenging with regards of  in managing cybersecurity risks.

Romano is the Security Manager of  the of Cybersecurity and Privacy at Continental Smart Mobility Business Area in Continental Automotive, located in Romania, Timișoara. With more than 15 years in the Embedded Development, 12 of them in the Automotive field, he started from Software Development to Systems Engineering, Automated Driving and now his focus is on Automotive Cybersecurity. Born and raised in Hunedoara, Romania he continued his studies in Computer Science at The Polytechnic University of Timisoara (Universitatea Politehnică Timisoara). He is one of those colleagues always enthusiastic to learn and to face new challenges!
