We are currently looking for an Intern to join our Global Procurement (GP) Organization. Global Procurement is an innovative organization that is at the forefront of its industry helping to fuel HPE's growth. Each Year, HPE spends about $4 billion globally on various products & services that we use to keep our company running successfully. Leveraging HPE’s collective buying power, GP optimizes HPE’s spend in order to deliver the best quality and value to the business. We procure everything from technology (such as hardware, software, and telecommunications) to marketing, outsourced labor, facilities, and business services - all spend in order to do business internally and support our outsourced services clients.

Start Date: July 2023 – full-time or part-time basis

What you’ll do

• Working across HPE businesses and functional organizations (Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, etc.) as a trusted advisor/consultant
• Analysing supplier related data and reporting
• Data mining and establishing strategies
• Core procurement category management skills (data intelligence, market analysis, stakeholder management, negotiation plans, supplier evaluations & interaction, contracts, implementation)
• Develop network across peers, managers, senior leadership and executives
• Efficiency gains through process improvement projects & execution
• Project Management, Communication & Presentation skills

What you’ll need:

• You are enrolled in the University pursuing Bachelor/Master degree – 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of studies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and other European language
• Strong Project Management skills
• MS office knowledge (MS Excel)
• Service oriented behaviour and communication
• Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team

• Ability to work under the stress with good attention to detail
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba and SharePoint
