Requirements

• University degree with technical background;
• Understanding of technical specifications and characteristics of materials;
• Analytical thinking, good market analysis techniques;
• Knowledge in commercial contract terms;
• Integrity, competitive, results oriented;
• PC Skills – MsOffice package, SAP ERP would be an asset;
• English – advanced level;
• Similar experience in production field would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Market research and analysis to identify acquisition opportunities for indirect materials, capital goods and services;
• Runs the purchasing processes by supplier assessment using RFQ/RFP, quotes analysis, negotiation, selection and contracting;
• Performs the supplier capabilities evaluation and long term contracts negotiation;
• Provides the optimal management of material stocks;
• Evaluates the open contracts performance and implements projects to improve material cost budgets;
• Review and analysis of internal customer requests to provide quality services;
• Identifies alternative materials in order to achieve cost efficiency.

Objective: the job holder will be involved in implementing the purchasing strategy for the acquisition of indirect materials and capital goods, in compliance with company goals of cost efficiency and quality standards.
