In the ever-evolving landscape of software development, testers play a critical role in ensuring product quality.  However, their influence and impact on the final outcome often remained underestimated. This talk aims to shed light on two essential aspects that empower testers to take charge of product quality and make a significant difference: professional reconversion and the shift left approach.

Florin Manolescu is the CEO and co-founder of Academia Testarii, provider of specialized courses and consultancy in software testing. Florin started his career in gaming testing in 2006, and after a short time he evolved into the profession of software testing, where he has been active for more than 20 years.

Through his exposure in the middle of testing processes in various industries, Florin accumulated a wealth of experience that allowed him to identify gaps in the local market, which ultimately motivated him to start his own business in the field in 2017.

Passionate about the software testing profession and motivated to contribute to its development in Romania, Florin is proud that following the steps initiated by the company he leads, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection decided to introduce the occupation of software testing analyst in the nomenclature of occupations.

Adrian Grigoras is the Lead Enterprise Architect & Intelligent Automation Technology Lead with over 18 years of extensive experience in the field of Technology and Digital Transformation. Throughout his career, Adrian has played important roles in architecting large-scale Digital Transformation programs, particularly within the Banking, Telecom, and Retail sectors. His expertise lies in harnessing the potential of cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI and Cloud to revolutionize and even disrupt entire industries. 





Razvan is a dedicated Solution Architect in the Intelligent Automation Team at EY, having more than 10 years of experience in the tech industry. With focus on areas such as RPA, Intelligent Automation, Cloud, and (more recently) Generative AI, Razvan sees technology as more than just coding or dealing with complex algorithms. He sees technology as a driver of change, innovation, and progress in society. It's not just about creating new gadgets or software, but about leveraging those advancements to solve real problems and improve the way we live and work.

Bogdan Cioc is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and the Executive-MBA program of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Since joining the company, he has held various roles in technical, business and people management.

This is a presentation on the creation of effective prompts for interacting with AI systems. It covers the basics of prompting, the challenges and opportunities, best practices and tips for creating engaging and meaningful prompts. The presentation also showcases some examples of successful and unsuccessful prompts, and how to improve them.





Roxana Vasile is a Development Manager at Finastra, dedicated to fostering learning and exploring the potential that AI&ML offers in tech and financial domains.

 

14:05 - 14:35 - Reversing diffusion with Generative AI powered by Accenture

This talk focuses on building an intuitive understanding on the technology that drives text-to-image generation solutions nowadays. The presentation aims to be fun and light, while conveying the complex technical aspects behind Stable Diffusion.
