    An opportunity exists within a large financial services organisation for a DevSecOps Engineer as part of a new capability within Data & Analytics. This role will form part of a new team to be based in Bucharest which will have support both locally and from the wider team.

    Our goal is to build out the Technology team operating from our strategic site in Bucharest providing experienced and dynamic team members to support multiple roles across our portfolio of global projects. This is a very exciting time to get involved, to help develop and shape new technology and drive change throughout the organisation.

    This role will work as part of a scrum team.

    Key responsibilities

    o Understand and analyse the business use cases and technical requirements and be able to build & integrate infrastructure solutions to run complex system of microservices
    o Proven experience with delivering complex infrastructure (IaC)
    o Automating infrastructure deployments
    o Collaborate with developers to deliver best possible solution
    o Work within an Agile scrum following lean and agile development methodologies
    o Follow best practice and processes, working across all stages of the product lifecycle from discovery, through define and to build
    o Determine work priorities based on general direction from managers
    o Provide specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues
    o Demonstrate clear prioritization and planning for activities to ensure timely delivery
    o Develop software/scripts to provide solutions to perform all SDLC activities for all development teams using CI/CD automation
    o Assist in building and adopting software delivery tools to accelerate growth
    o Make recommendations for improvements to existing architecture
    o Help implement new technologies in development for future deployment
    o Help implement and improve development CI/CD software pipeline
    o Identify improvements to the configuration and design to improve reliability, performance, and operability
    o Assist in all vital phases of a project implementation, including functional requirements, technical design, development, unit testing and user acceptance testing
    o Gather requirements from stakeholders to develop the best automation solutions
    o Ensure security, scalability and resilience of provided solutions







    Experience required:

    o 3-5 years in Dev-Ops role
    o Previous experience in Terraform, Unix, Jenkins, JIRA, ADO, Confluence, Gitlab / GitHub
    o Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, from common features to data security solutions
    o Hands-on experience with Python
    o Good knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS/Istio/Calico are a plus)
    o Good understanding of SDLC, CICD
    o CI/CD tools integration and implementation
    o Infrastructure as Code concepts and solutions
    o Hands-on experience with Jenkins
    o Azure / AWS
    o Solid understanding of automated software application builds and deployments
    o Analytical and problem-solving skills
    o Capable of building scalable and robust infrastructure
    o Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    o Strong interpersonal and communication skills


    Qualifications
    o A degree in a relevant subject, or can show how you've built up your experience and skills over time 'on-the-job'
    o Knowledge of professional financial design is a bonus, but you will be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of crafting successful solutions that met business and user needs for complex domains
