    Responsabilities:

    • Provide analytical reports to convey the result of the analysis;
    • Conduct periodic review of the clients;
    • Collaborate with onshore counterparts on ESG related topics and contributing to other transversal topics.
    Specifically, you will be required to:
    • Analyze companies on E&S parameters according to bank`s policies and regulatory requirements and summarizes these into necessary reports for the Front office and Risk teams;
    • Alignment to all the Groups Sectorial Policies (for instance: Oil and Gas, Mining, Agriculture etc.) and Climate Notes;
    • Perform company and sector level E&S research with emphasis on suitability of product offerings and Investment relevance;
    • Collaborate with Front office, Risk and Compliance teams on E&S related topics;
    • Support the Business entities of Societe Generale group to assess and analyze clients and transactions from an E&S perspective;
    • Assisting the team in organizing and conducting E&S trainings;
    • Develop and deepen understanding of sustainability topics;
    • Manage team of analysts and handle various initiatives;
    • Share knowledge, experience, and research findings internally to build team capabilities;
    • Conduct and review E&S risk and maturity assessment on potential and existing clients, emphasizing on suitability of product offerings.

    Profile Required


    Ideal candidate:
    • A curious out-of-the-box thinker and have a mix of general research and administrative skills;
    • A passion for environmental and social issues and interest in corporate behavior and financial markets;
    • To work independently with little guidance, while leading a team of ESG experts and IT development team;
    • They should also be able to work collaboratively with the team across different business lines and geographies.
    Desired skills:
    • Good understanding of global standards, trends and regulations related to E
    • Understanding of sustainable finance products and market;
    • Strong analytical and quantitative research skills, and attention to details;
    • Good understanding of financial markets and the finance sector;
    • The individual must be a self-starter, a team player, and able to work on multiple assignments and complete high-quality work against competing deadlines;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively articulate research findings/analysis;
    • Fluent in French and English.
