    Role profile:

    We are the Data & Analytics (D&A) Technology team, supporting the D&A CIO and LSEG Microsoft Partnership Technology lead. Our COO and Business Management function drives the strategy and operating rhythm of the CIO and her engineering leadership team. Our environment is fast paced and dynamic. This role is broad, both transformational and operational, and directly interacts with the D&A CIO. The role reports to our Director of Business Management for D&A Technology with team members in US, UK and Romania.

    Role summary:

    As a D&A Technology Senior Business Manager, you will be driving strategic planning and operational activities for the effective and efficient running of D&A Technology. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about technology and operations, is an exemplary communicator and excels at distilling data into insights and action. They are comfortable in conversation with engineering teams and bring simplicity and action where complexity abounds.

    Main Responsibilities:
    • Drives delivery of daily operations as well as strategic and operational projects for D&A Technology.
    • Manage key relationships with multiple constituents to provide analytics, intelligence, forecasting, and reporting that informs and drives business decisions.
    • Reports key business decision-making information to management on both an ad-hoc and recurring basis
    • Own metrics across the operating environment, direct the work to capture, analyze, recommend and report effectively for the function and drive process improvement, change initiatives and issue resolution
    • Enable the operating rhythm for D&A Technology including maintenance of the operating calendar, ensuring awareness and visibility for LT of important events,
    • Drives production of materials, such as business cases, board papers, presentations, executive briefs, videos, etc.

    Required Skills:
    • Previous experience in operations roles, in part with technology operations or IT Service Management specifically. Experience in global, matrixed environments a plus
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - skilled at producing, content-rich, word-light executive narrative to resonate at CEO level
    • Strong attention to detail, strong execution focus and great prioritisation skills. Preference for working to clear deadlines and commitments.
    • Strengths in planning, organising and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards
    • Ability to act as trusted advisor to D&A Technology CIO and leadership team, business managers and delivery teams
    • Ability to influence across multiple constituents at all levels, wherever they work and whoever they work for
