Support Function Controller

A snapshot of your day: Create and implement procedures to improve the accuracy of the financial predictions while using ground breaking digital tools.

• Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for worldwide Support Functions with presentations to management for review and approval
• Develop and implement processes to improve the quality of the financial forecasts using and implementing innovative digital tools
• Analysing and interpreting raw data to develop valuable insights that relate to business strategy and financial reports
• Enhancing the impact and understanding of their findings through effective communication with department teams
• Partnering with business Support Functions to enhance their short and long-term financial goals
• Establishing processes to develop budget and forecast insights within teams
• Reporting findings and results to senior management
• Training teams in financial principles and strategies to enhance procedures
• Reviewing the processes to identify financial risks and areas to be improved
• Financial analysis and data aggregation with focus on project important metrics of worldwide project business
• Collect and prepare data to analyze global financial value flows
• Help build a strong finance community leading to an analytics engine in the Business Controlling Community

• Bachelor´s degree in the field of Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or comparable extensive working experience
• Several years of experience in Finance / Controlling (experience in commercial project management highly welcome)
• Good knowledge of Excel, SAP, Tableau, and DASH tools
• Experience in the digitization of controlling processes and experience in the use of digitization tools (Alteryx, UiPath etc.) favorable
• Business fluency in English is key, proficiency in German is beneficial
• A networker who can score points with strong communication skills and good time management
