Hardware Indoor Outdoor Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Performing design for indoor and outdoor of railway signaling system.
• Verifies and corrects the documents received from the design suppliers.
• Verifies, organize and sends for approval the technical documentation related to HW indoor and outdoor design of railway signaling systems.
• Elaboration of sub-systems specification ERTMS & contribution to architecture of ERTMS system, in collaboration with the system architect.
• Offers support for system design teams, telecom, T&C and V&V.
• Tender support activities.
• Preparing bill of quantities for equipment and materials.
• Realizes design and development of HW system modules for the specific software.
• Applies process, methods and tools as referenced by the program plans.
• In collaboration with the System Architect and under the control of the System Engineering Manager he contributes to the system design and specification according to the development strategy established in the System Engineering Management Plan.
• Manage closure of logged technical issues associated with the systems and equipment.
• Responsible for, and control of, the technical documentation.
• Participates to the material selection and procurement activities as required for the system delivery.
• Sustains the system according to Change Requests (evolutions and anomalies).
• Contributes to continuous improvement (Return on Experience).
• Contributes to workload estimations for the deliverables of his scope.
• Provide continued assurance of the compliance of systems and equipment to mandatory standards and legislative requirements.

• Technical university degree electric / electronic related.
• Railway Signaling knowledge or other safety critical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• Fluent French speakers.
• English Language: advanced level.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Analytical and methodical problems solving.
