For our client, the largest integrated energy company in South-Eastern Europe coming from the Oil&Gas Industry, we are looking for a Cost Accountant.

Bachelor`s degree in Accounting/ Economic Studies;
Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting;
Knowledge and understanding of Financial Accounting regulations (RAS) related to P&L accounts, Management Accounting;
Good understanding of x-functional relations and interdependencies;
Ability to identify opportunities to improve owned activities and processes;
Good level of Excel (functions);
An advanced level of English;
Knowledge and application of SAP CO transactions are nice to have.

-Performing and ensuring the high accuracy of data resulting from cost accounting activities – costs and investments, revenues, profitability, and results analysis, with minimum guidance and monitoring for daily activities, respecting the principles and rules in place;
-Applying independently the knowledge from the area of expertise following the business requirements;
-Maintaining the connection with the internal clients and partner departments;
-Ensuring and performing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, standard and ad-hoc requests;
-Covering dedicated and specific processes in the CO module related to master data maintenance, checking, analysis, and correction for ensuring Finance and Controlling data accuracy, controlling postings - recurrent and at-request repostings, upload of internal and indicators allocation, running internal orders and projects settlement, cost allocations cycles, profit centers, and profitability analysis posting;
-Supporting the identification of potential risks in the area of expertise;
-Adapting to new tasks and situations in an efficient manner, proving flexibility in the way of thinking and acting.
