IFRS Reporting and Financial Analyst

Vienna Insurance Group Management Service SRL (VIG MS) is the group owned IT Service provider for all Romanian entities (Asirom, BCR Life Insurance and Omniasig) of Vienna Insurance Group.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
• Proven experience in accounting and financial analyst, with a minimum of 3 years leading the financial close and financial statement preparation process;
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and RAS and regulatory reporting requirements;
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP preferable);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data;
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in the organization;
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work;
• Ability to adapt to a multinational work environment and manage multiple challenges;
• Openness to people and ideas, as well as enjoyment of varied tasks;
• Good English skills;
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

We are seeking a talented and motivated IFRS Reporting and Financial Analyst to join our Financial team. In this pivotal role, reporting to the CFO of the company, you will ensure that our financial reporting processes for both internal and external stakeholders are robust, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards. Your role will involve collaborating across departments to support the financial integrity and transparency of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing quarterly and annual IFRS reporting package based on the group requirements and procedures;
• Reviewing financial records, analyze data, and participate in budgeting and forecasting activities;
• Ensuring compliance with internal control requirements;
• Reviewing the preparation of financial reports and disclosures;
• Preparing presentations and reports for management and external stakeholders;
• Overseeing the completion of annual external financial audits;
• Leading special projects and initiatives that improve financial reporting.
