Mechanical Internship for Head-up Display – UX (TM)

Job Description

To put it simple, a Head-up Display (HUD) is offering a digital transparent image which is projected in front of the driver's eyes at a certain distance, displaying the same information you would get from the dashboard. This can include everything from your current instrument cluster information to navigation and much more.

Within this team, you will:

• Be part of the HUD PDC (Product Development Center) in business area User Experience;
• Be involved in a wide product range with different display sizes (from 1.8" to 3.1" displays and bigger, for new generations of HUD);
• Learn about the latest technologies on the market: combiner HUD, windshield HUD or even AR HUD (Augmented Reality);
• Have an initial training which will help you get familiarized with our products, tools, processes and organization;
• Have the chance of a career path in development and / or some expert fields, based on experience and know-how;
• Work in an international team.

In order to develop, you will learn:

• To design mechanical parts from HUDs;
• To make tolerance calculations for mechanical subassemblies;
• To offer support for error analysis process;
• To create the documentation according to the process;
• To make dimensional measurements for mechanical parts using GOM equipment.

• University studies on going in Mechanics, Mechatronics or relevant field;
• Knowledge about plastic parts design;
• Creo know-how (knowledge about any other tool for 3D design is welcomed);
• Good communication skills;
• English language skills (written and spoken).
