    Requirements

    • At least 3 years working experience with at least three to five years in comparable financial position with experience in Controlling, Reporting and Operational Finance;
    • University graduation or M.Sc. or MBA in Economy (Finance, Controlling, Management Accounting);
    • In-depth acquaintance with international accounting standards;
    • Experience with and knowledge of local accounting rules and standards in countries of responsibilities;
    • Proficiency in using Excel as analytical desk-top tool;
    • Comprehensive understanding of ERP IT systems (e.g. JD Edwards and Magnitude);
    • Language skills requirements: German – Business fluent, English – Business fluent.
    • Preferably experience to work with international companies

    Responsibilities

    For our client, a global leader in laboratory testing, inspection and certification services, we are looking for an experienced Finance Controller with excellent German and English language skills.

    Purpose of the Position / Overall Task:
    • Business planning, controlling and reporting to the corporation about the business of the country of responsibility;
    • Close cooperation with the management through preparation of finance analyses supporting business decision process
    Responsibilities and Main Activities:
    • Planning of sales, costs and profit on the level of BU's in the assigned countries;
    • Preparing of local, areal and corporate reports in accordance with corporate rules and norms;
    • Monitoring, analyzing and reporting financial deviations in business results and processes as well as providing operational managers with new tools for performance measurement in order to allow faster and more accurate analysis of variances;
    • Support operational managers in the activity of budgets and forecasts;
    • Analyze and intervene in internal processes, both administrative and operational, to improve the effectiveness and reliability;
    • Heading, coordinating and supervising the team in finance department;
    • Implementation and support the deployment of financial tools in agreement with the person in charge;
    • Assurance of compliance with financial and tax legislation in country of responsibility;
    • Contribute to the process of closing monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
    • Cooperation with internal and external auditors;
    • Implementing of corporate rules in countries of responsibility;
