IT Auditor

A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of the Siemens Energy Assurance IT Audit Team, you provide assurance to the Managing Board by exploring questions that matter and create impact, for topics such as cloud computing, data privacy, cybersecurity, and implementation of large IT projects.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Plan, execute, and report on IT audits, including IT general controls, IT governance, and cybersecurity assessments.
  

• Evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls, identifying areas of improvement and potential risks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and IT systems, ensuring alignment with audit objectives.

• Develop and maintain audit programs, workpapers, and documentation in accordance with professional standards and internal policies.
  

• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management, providing actionable insights to enhance IT governance and risk management.
  

• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure audit practices remain relevant and effective.
  

What You Bring:

• Strong past performance in academics (e.g.: IT, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
  
• Proven experience in IT auditing, risk management, or information security, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
• Committed to work in a highly diverse and inclusive agile environment together with global travel requirements.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  
• Fluent in business English both verbally and in writing.
  
• Certifications such as: CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc. are a plus.
