Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical field or Oil and Gas);
Proven training in CAD, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling & drawing engineering software;
Advanced level proficiency in English;
Less than 2 years of relevant experience;

Qualifications/Skills:

Knowledge of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies;
Strong knowledge of technical drawing;
Proficient with computer and information technology, including the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
Excellent analytical and math skills;
Strong attention to detail;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations;

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Lean Six Sigma: Ensure that new processes are established using Lean concepts such as standardized work instructions, line balancing, layout and work sequence optimization, training development matrix, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen/5S workouts, pull processes, TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance), cell design, and quick changeover/batch-size optimization;
Drive continuous improvement projects on manufacturing processes;
Evaluate and benchmark best-in-class manufacturing techniques;
Establish pilot testing and scale-up plans for manufacturing technology implementation;
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams and other stakeholders during the testing of processes;
Support the Manufacturing Engineer (DFM) on specific technology issues/constraints for NPD (New Product Development) and RR (Rapid Response) projects.
