    Job Description

    We are currently looking for an Senior Safety Software Developer with Classic AUTOSAR (Cluj, Sibiu) to work within our teams. 

    In the Hardware related Software Deparment, we are building the next generation of ADAS Integration Platform to be used for Driver Assistance Systems and Automated Driving. 

    We are responsible for Prototype software development, bring-up and low-level software development of state-of-the-art SoC (Systems on a Chip). We are also integrating the software solutions in customer projects and bringing them to series production. 

    In your role you will: 

    • Lead the development and implementation of safety-critical software for ADAS projects in compliance with ASIL-D requirements;
    • Design and maintain software architecture and detailed software designs, ensuring integration with the Classic AUTOSAR architecture;
    • Be part of safety analyses, including FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, and DFA, to identify and mitigate potential risks;
    • Develop and implement safety plans, safety cases, and validation and verification strategies in accordance with ASPICE processes;
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of software components and adherence to project timelines and quality standards;
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to automotive software safety;
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of our safety processes and methodologies;
    • Integrate ECU Extract, Configure BSW modules, Configure and Generate RTE;. 
    • Integrate application components into the software;
    • Deliver the committed work package within the agreed time and quality; 
    • Proactively communicate delays or problems occurred during development;
    • Conduct reviews (requirements, design, code, module test);
    • Follow the defined software development processes, while proactively pushing to improve and streamline all areas of the process. 

    Technology Stack:  

    • AUTOSAR;
    • Hardware Based Software: Embedded OS, Multicore MCU, System Control;
    • Safety Stack, E2E, Ethernet, CAN, CAN-FD, XCP, UDS; 
    • Git, Doors, CANoe;
    • Knowledge of ASPICE; 
    • ISO26262.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive software development, with a strong focus on safety-critical systems;
    • In-depth knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR architecture and its application in automotive projects;
    • Proven experience in developing software compliant with ASIL-D safety standards;
    • Solid understanding of the ASPICE process and its application in automotive software development;
    • Proficiency in safety analysis techniques, including FMEA, FTA, and DFA;
    • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with software development tools and environments;
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment;
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
