REPORTS TO: Commercial Finance Manager - Product Cost

ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

The key purpose of this role is to support the Commercial Finance Manager in providing comprehensive, insightful and actionable end market level product cost analysis; at both legal entity and end market level. Supports the preparation of financial and commercial plans, forecasts and budgets.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• • Financially evaluate actual and forecast product cost, supporting end market and WECT COS reporting requirements
  • Provide proactive, timely, insightful and actionable end market level analysis to ensure all stakeholders have a clear view of drivers of product cost and product cost variances and understand the impact on end market profitability
  • Deliver ad-hoc product cost and transfer price information to aid decision making
  • Support with month end processes via SLA with Shared Services, validate results and provide appropriate commentary.

  • Support wider WECT team and Customer finance teams through knowledge transfer and a flexible approach.
  • Build a strong network within BAT to ensure that issues can be quickly identified and resolved

• Ability to manage and analyse large quantity of data
• Commercially aware
• Logical and well organised
• Able to work on own initiative
• Good Excel Skills
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Good people skills, able to communicate effectively
