    Role profile:
    The Director, Reporting and Planning, Strategy, Insights and Performance leads the strategic planning, reporting and operational processes and activities for the effective and efficient running of the CAM Function. Designs and drives the operating rhythm and delivery of KPIs through first-class stakeholder management and clear performance management. Creates a single interlocked plan (and necessary tools) and is accountable for the successful delivery, and promotion, of a suite of critical reports to senior stakeholders.
    The successful candidate must combine deep operational experience and first class interpersonal skills with a background of team leadership and successful collaboration at a senior level.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Lead the Corporate Affairs & Marketing (CAM) function's strategic planning process with CAM Leadership Team and partnering closely with CEO Office and Group Strategy; ensuring CAM's strategic objectives reflect and deliver the Group's (and divisional) customer and revenue priorities
    • Working with teams across CAM to lead their interlocked planning with the businesses to ensure we meet also divisional and local objectives
    • Lead the planning and delivery of critical management information, executive reports and presentations - including Weekly ExCo Updates, Quarterly Business Reviews and Board Reports for the function - delivering first class, well-written, concise executive-level work products
    • Establishes the operating rhythm for the function, including the ownership and maintenance of the operating calendar, ensuring awareness and visibility for LT of important events, deadlines and commitments
    • Prepares planning and reporting metrics and commentary mapped to CAM's strategic objectives, allowing CAM leadership to track and improve the function's performance
    • Lead a team to create and manage an annual planning framework and cycle to ensure delivery of priority initiatives against agreed metrics - improving collaboration, removing duplication - and work with senior stakeholders across CAM to manage interdependencies and opportunities
    • Build and maintain a single planning tool (and processes) across CAM to create a single "version of the truth" with reporting to aid decision making and prioritisation
    • Represent the function through participation in management meetings, projects, steering committees, task forces and committees - and membership of relevant leadership teams
    • Work in partnership with Performance & Improvement team to ensure that all activity planning is in-budget, properly forecasted and delivers to agreed KPIs.
    • Work in partnership with teams and leaders across CAM to facilitate repeatable processes and seamless sourcing of information in a timely and efficient way
    • Manage a team of direct reports, using the appropriate resources, networks and tools to ensure delivery against objectives and to provide performance management, technical development, guidance and coaching.


    What you'll bring:

    • Relevant professional qualification
    • Experience using planning and project management tools such as Workfront
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messages to audience and appropriate for senior executives. Writing and editing (English language) excellence is a must-have
    • Significant Marketing and Communications knowledge
    • Extensive stakeholder management, people management and leadership experience
    • Extensive experience in building planning tools and reporting suites
