    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As a Buyer, you will work with exciting and varying tasks, mainly within, but not limited to, Operational Procurement. You will integrate procurement into the project management process for projects within EAD (Electrification, Automation and Digitalization) Nordics. Furthermore, you will run and monitor all operational procurement activities in assigned service jobs and projects for which you will be responsible for, including Purchase Order creation, expediting, master data management, goods receipt and claim management
    How You'll Make an Impact
    • Processes purchase requests by creating and releasing purchase orders to suppliers
    • Purchase order management, including tracking/expediting to ensure a cost-efficient supply of materials in accordance with demand
    • Ensures items and services are delivered on time and expedited where necessary
    • Communicate with suppliers concerning order-related items, such as delivery dates, and escalates risks to relevant internal stakeholders
    • Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance. Escalates findings to relevant stakeholders and addresses performance issues with suppliers as necessary
    • Maintain supplier and material master data to ensure accuracy that enables a smooth procure-to-pay process
    • Negotiate prices and payment terms (low-threshold transactions)
    • Demonstrate strong customer focus by handling requests in a timely manner with high quality standards
    • Communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
    • Actively seeks process optimization and improvement opportunities in relevant areas (e.g. MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders, etc.)

    What You Bring
    • You have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and/or relevant MSc.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, engineering, operations or manufacturing functions
    • Digital mindset with knowledge of supplier management systems (preferably SAP) and experience working according to supply chain KPIs.
    • You have experience from working in teams with a track record of stakeholder management
    • You speak fluent English
    • You have a great ability to work in a technology-oriented teams and bring in new mindsets around solutions and procure-to-pay process
    • You work in a structured manner, is self-motivated and analytical with a positive and strategic attitude
