    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree - Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Controlling, Economics, Mathematics or Informatics;
    • 1 to 2 years of working experience in controlling, purchasing, finance area or previous internship would be a plus;
    • Advanced computer skills - MS Office, especially Excel; Any other basic knowledge of the database management systems SAP, MS SQL Server, Power BI would be a plus;
    • Advanced English skills (spoken and written), any other language would be an advantage;
    • Willing to gain knowledge, develop new working capacities;
    • Structured, careful and analytical way of working;
    • Team player and ability to work in a flexible way, resilient;
    • Reliable and efficient concerning due dates;
    • Problem solving oriented, analytical thinking, and organization skills;
    • High customer and service orientation;
    • Good communication skills;
    • Willingness to travel and to work in an intercultural environment.

    Job Description

    • Being responsible for month end closing tasks and reporting packs support, including support of year-end closing activities and maintain master data (e.g. in SAP-CO);
    • Liaise with Accounting department for monthly and annual closing (prepare journals to be posted, inquire about any unknown postings);
    • Acting responsible for various reports for cost centers controlling process, including planning , forecasting and actuals. Plan vs Actual :Performs various analyses on variable costs, fixed costs and deviations from planned costs;
    • Being responsible for cost tracking and allocation, with securing of data consistency at entity level;
    • Supporting transition projects of further controlling services;
    • Gathering new or changed requirements from management and customers; Adapt and specify corresponding processes and procedures;
    • Ensuring on-time delivery as well as data quality in all process steps by validating data and communicate it to all stakeholders involved;
    • Processing development for standardization of data flow procedures;
    • Being actively involved in coming up with ideas regarding improvements and dashboards;
    • Acting responsible for reading, understanding and applying the procedure from area of responsibility and also interdepartmental procedure;
    • Being responsible for any other tasks related to area of responsibility requested by direct superior.
