    ROLE PROFILE :

    We are looking for an all-around SEO specialist to join our in-house Search & Display Media team to support our global organic search efforts. You will be leading and supporting all SEO activities including technical SEO, content strategy and link building to improve our rankings, increase our traffic and grow sales. This is a unique opportunity to manage SEO at a truly global, enterprise scale. This role will combine strategic digital strategy with hands-on SEO work for dozens of websites and millions of pages spread across several key regions and languages.



    ROLE SUMMARY:

    This role sits in the Search & Display Media team within the Digital Transformation team at LSEG. SEO is a core function of the Marketing organization at LSEG, and this role will be key to driving growth for the company. The SEO specialist will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve our organic search rankings and drive high-quality traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of current SEO best practices, data-driven analysis, and a creative approach to problem-solving. If you are a driven, analytical, creative, and performance-focused individual with excellent written and communication skills, then this role is for you.



    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    • Help to devise and implement our global SEO strategy across core areas of SEO including tech, content, and back link management.
    • Run the implementation of our SEO strategy for several large-scale websites and millions of webpages spanning key global markets and core local languages as well as local search engines.
    • Create and share best-practice SEO strategies and processes that will improve performance and bolster resilience across our digital ecosystem.
    • Serve as the in-house SEO expert, representing SEO and voicing support for the value of SEO to wider teams across the business including Marketing, Communications, Sales, Product, Tech, and others.
    • Partner with technical teams, developers, and web publishers to ensure new changes to the website will improve performance and don't negatively impact our rankings.
    • Collaborate with content marketing teams to ensure new web content is optimised for search including conducting keyword research and sending over clear SEO recommendations.
    • Lead on transformational digital projects from the SEO-standpoint, including complex site migrations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for SEO-related matters across the organization. Prepare and present detailed reports and PowerPoint presentations on campaign performance, strategies, and insights to business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
    • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, tools, and best practices to ensure ongoing optimization and innovation.



    WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

    • 3+ years' experience of hands-on SEO experience, either agency or in-house.
    • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS and a foundational grasp for how the web works. Any knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
    • Excellent written and communication skills.(English)
    • You should be comfortable with both the creative, content side of digital marketing as well the more technical side.
    • You should have hands-on experience with data analysis using Excel as well as putting together presentations in PowerPoint.
    • You are the sort of person who relishes a challenge and likes to come up with new ideas and then take the initiative to see them through from conception to execution.
    • Experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics.
    • Experience with SEO tools such as Search Console, SEM Rush & ContentKing.
    • Experience in B2B or Financial Services is a plus.
    • Experience using a CMS such as AEM or WordPress is ideal but not required.
