Job description

As a Software Engineering student in Graphical User Interface (GUI) development, you will join our Virtual Prototyping team and support us in developing a state-of-the-art control and visualization tool for coded models.

In your new role, you will:

• Deep dive into Virtual Prototyping and understand how various automotive electronic equipment functionality is simulated;
• Gain experience in GUI development and usage of libraries and Integrated Development Environments to develop complex, real-life applications;
• Research and understand how to interact between GUI elements and simulation control Application Program Interfaces and adapt them as needed;
• Contribute to local and international methodology for automotive electronics development projects.

Your Profile

You are research-oriented and enjoy deep-diving into technical topics. With a structured and autonomous working style, you show good analytical skills that support you in solving problems and ensuring a successful outcome. You enjoy experimenting with new technologies to find optimal solutions for the task at hand.

You are best equipped for this job if you:

• Are in the final year of a Bachelor's program in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Have a good command of C++/Python or other object-oriented programming languages;
• Had at least one relevant project that involved GUI development or implementation (e.g. using Qt for C++, C++ with SDL or SFML, GUIDE for MATLAB, Tkinter for Python or others);
• Experience in software packaging and creation of installers would be an advantage;
• Basic electronics knowledge is a plus;
• Have a good command of English.
