    Requirements

    Education: University degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering discipline or geology (Masters Level).
    Petroleum industry work experience from 0 to 3 years.
    Languages: spoken and written English and/or some Romanian.
    Raise level of understanding of reservoir and petroleum engineering, geology, and geophysics.

    Responsibilities

    Work within integrated reservoir studies teams, field development teams and exploration teams.
    The position requires multidisciplinary & team-working skills in co-ordination with geologists, reservoir engineers, contractors and contracting authorities.
    Provide expertise across the Petrom organization.
    Participate in audits.
    Prepare and manage data acquisition programs for drilling and workover operations, both in cased and open hole.
    Perform petrophysical formation evaluations for single- and multiple well log suites; interpret LWD and wireline logs using petrophysical software packages to determine reservoir characteristics (matrix and fluid volumes, permeabilities) and net pay.
    Learn to quantify reservoir uncertainties.
    Perform the relevant QA/QC checks of raw and computer processed data.
