How we’d like you to be:
- Work closely with the Product Manager to make the internal strategy for the category.
- Negotiate the campaigns support with the suppliers to have constant and good offers.
- Evaluate performance of the category and monitors market changes to identify new opportunities as well as changes to our existing offering.
- Identify any new merchandise to improve assortment and to maintain their competitiveness in the market.
- Develop plans for the launch of new merchandise together with suppliers into all relevant markets.
- Maintain up-to-date lists of suppliers and pricing arrangements to ensure that the company achieves the most favorable commercial terms.
- Maintain an awareness of new developments in the product development field to ensure that the company maintains its competitive advantage.
- Forecast sales and develop an assortment plan;
- Negotiate the offers and commercial conditions to reach the category indicators.
- Analyze product positioning in the market and makes decisions accordingly;
- Know how to interpret the data’s (analyze sales reports, orders, clients’ demands and acts accordingly to meet and exceed sales targets);
Responsabilitati
What you’ll have to do:
- Buying responsibility for Domestic Appliances (Commercial Team);
- Negotiate the purchase of products required by the company, ensuring that these meet specifications and can be delivered at the appropriate time at the most favorable prices;
- Monitor purchase orders to ensure that these are modified to meet changes in requirements;
- Maintain up-to-date lists of suppliers, purchasing and pricing arrangements to ensure that the company achieves the most favorable commercial terms;
- Maintain an awareness of quantities of stock to ensure that shortages are avoided;
- Report any significant supply issues to ensure that departments and functions are kept aware of any potential difficulties;
- Develop the merchandise acquisition plan based on the sales forecast;
- Set up and execute automated replenishment;
- Select and negotiate contracts with suppliers;
- Keeping track of market trends and competitors’ activity in order to identify new opportunities as well as changes to our existing offer.
