    A snapshot of your day:

    The Commercial Project Manager (CPM) for High-Voltage Equipment:

    • is responsible for the commercial management of contracts and orders related to high-voltage equipment, mainly focused on the contract execution.
    • will work closely with various persons and departments, including Sales, Finance, PM's and factories.
    • will report to the Head of Finance Sales Belgium, Netherland and Luxembourg (Benelux) and will support delivery together with Project managers in Benelux.
    How you'll make an impact:

    • Conduct commercial and financial planning, reporting, monitoring, and controlling of high-voltage equipment projects and products.
    • Create and handle sales orders and work break down structure (WBS);
    • Carry out invoicing, check payments.
    • Organize logistics in collaboration with the order manager and handle Financial Guarantees and import duties (if any) as per project conditions.
    • Coordinate with the project managers to ensure successful execution of projects within budget and time constraints, including indexation.
    • Maintain project calculations, reporting and FCF Forecast, and ensure the financial success of projects.
    • Proactive & Dynamic Preparing commercial documentation for regular project status meetings.
    • Identify, evaluate, and handle project risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation strategies when necessary.
    • Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens Energy commercial and financial guidelines, plus the local GAAP requirements
    • Maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers to ensure their happiness and handle any changes to the project scope.
    • Support the sales team in the bid process, e.g. credit checks, including preparing commercial offers, and conducting risk assessments.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the other CPM's in Benelux to address and resolve commercial and contractual issues

    What do you bring?

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business/Finance/Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience (2 years) in commercial project management, preferably in the high-voltage equipment or energy sector.
    • Understanding of commercial and financial principles.
    • Negotiation, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge in financial project management software and tools, like SAP & MS Office.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external partners.
    • Proactive & Dynamic
    • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Willingness to travel, if required.
    • Proficient in English, spoken and written, French is beneficial.
