British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Order to Cash Controls Specialist in Bucharest!
The O2C Cash Specialist will be responsible of performing accurate BAU deliverables for the End markets with highest complexity. They will be working closely with the teams in GBS O2C and end market representatives, to ensure the best solution for each market is timely and effectively applied, proper support is offered for the team members, including, but not limited to, process documentation, issue resolution, operational improvement, end market engagement, training/knowledge transfer and a solid control framework.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Effective and timely delivery of Order to Cash processes according to the agreed deadlines and in line with audit recommendations
- Provide support for Subject Matter Experts and Assistant Manager for Order to Cash specific activities
- Assist in the identification of continuous improvements to the GBS Order to Cash processes
- Provides support in the standardization of departmental controls documentation and ensures this is constantly maintained
- Takes ownership and resolve very complex problems in a way that demonstrates balanced judgment, deep understanding of business functions and a continuous improvement mindset
What are we looking for?
- At least 3 years of experience in a shared services/BPO/ Finance organization with minimum 1.5 years of experience in the O2C/Accounts Receivable area
- Exposure to SOX / Internal control processes is a nice to have
- At least 2 years of experience in a shared services/BPO/ Finance organization with minimum 1 year of experience in the O2C/Accounts Receivable or similar area;
- Solid SAP or similar ERP knowledge, Microsoft Office knowledge;
- Good knowledge of Subledger processes across regions and the impact between functional teams;
- Solid functional knowledge in Cash Application area is a plus;
- Training experience, leading onboarding sessions for new joiners is a plus;
