    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree;
    - Proficiency in English;
    - 7 + years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, to include at minimum, 4 years in an indirect /capital procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts;
    - In-depth experience in best-in-class procurement practices (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.);
    - Strong negotiator with proven experience in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations and excellent communication and presentation skills.

    Responsibilities

    - Develop robust commodity strategies for the Capital Equipment ( inclusive of Equipment Lease / Rentals ) Category Strategy Team and with consideration to quality, cost, speed and service requirements, market conditions, risks and exposures, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon; global industry trends, suppliers’ capabilities, and overall supply chain expertise;
    - Partner with Buying Operations Team and SBG cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution. Facilitate engagement across all SBG’s to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned commodity space;
    - Consolidate fragmented global spend, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution in order to bring greater value to Honeywell;
    - Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity;
    - Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies while maximizing benefit to Honeywell.
