Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering;
- Expert in the bid management process and best practices;
- In-depth technical knowledge of DCS, SCADA, Safety Systems and a well-developed sense of the industry and market trends;
- Preferred to have German language.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver documentation (estimations, proposals, clarifications and other information) in response to customer requests from early stages (bid-no-bid conclusion) until the order is booked, including the coordination and development of the proposal in all aspects.
- Should possess the ability to communicate technical concepts and solutions to internal and external customers e.g. understanding site surveys, accurately reviewing customer specifications, and with the ability to identify opportunities, risks, and resources required to achieve results within the proposal cycle.
- Evaluate, design and develop viable end-to-end technical solutions for the ICSS business, primarily focusing on DCS, SCADA and Process Safety Systems.
- Translate customer needs and business requirements into detailed technical solutions and proposals. Evaluate potential solutions and systems architecture to ensure that they meet all requirements.
- Hold and direct meetings with internal teams, customers, and vendors to review requirements, address open issues/questions, close gaps; Create and Maintain Bid Plan and Review / Update Action Rail, coordinate follow-up calls, assign actions and support in making them done in the proper time.
- Support sales and operations team to create a project delivery plan, including labour execution strategy and customer responsibilities. - Prepare full proposal and costing of all Honeywell hardware, software and services, other 3rd party content, contingencies, etc.
Identify external content (3rd party) and interact with Procurement to obtain technical and commercial offers from external suppliers.
- Responsible for the creation/collection of approval documents and support the review calls with upper management, including functional approvals, internal approvals and associated documents. Any additional required approvals: Payment Terms, T&Cs, etc.
