    A Snapshot of Your Day:

    You are responsible for the mechanical engineering of HV GIS substations, according to customer requirements, prepare the technical documentation and offer support/ technical clarification to all the stakeholders involved.

    How you will make an Impact:
    • Engineer, calculate, and simulate mechanical design for steel supports, gangways, according to switchgear layout and seismic conditions for customer's projects
    • Create the documentation for complex HV switchgear with CAD and CAE engineering tools (mechanical substation layout, technical calculation - seismic and foundation loads)
    • Technical clarification with primary engineering, offer and order management, internal and external customers and suppliers
    • Responsibility and controlling for product costs, time schedule, technique, product and process quality
    • Analysis and evaluation of project related risks, including elaboration of risk minimizing and usage of opportunities in working area
    • Collaboration and coordination with the stakeholders of the projects
    • Actively working for process and interface optimization
    • Willingness for international business trips, especially for engineering training and collaboration with German team in Erlangen and Berlin
    What you Bring:
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or mechanical simulation, Master's degree preferred
    • +2 years' experience with a focus on engineering of high voltage switchgear and substations
    • Knowledge of high voltage products, systems, and electrical network
    • Knowledge of international technical standards, e.g. IEC, IEEE, EN, Eurocode, ESTI, seismic standards
    • Work experience with 3D CAD and CAE tools (Primtech, FEM tools ANSYS or similar)
    • Proven record of successful engineering projects
    • Business fluent communication in English
    • Intercultural experience
