    Our Salesforce team at Veeam is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust solutions for our stakeholders. We are currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager with expertise in CI/CD tools and SOX compliance. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the release processes for our Salesforce applications, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements and deliver maximum value to our business. 

    A successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing Salesforce releases, strong expertise in CI/CD tools, and experience with SOX compliance. Additionally, you should be well-versed in Agile methodologies, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure successful delivery. 

    Reports to: Director of Salesforce Engineering, Corporate Technology 

    Your tasks will include: 
    • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all Salesforce releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
    • Utilize CI/CD tools (GearSet and GitHub) to automate and streamline the release process, ensuring consistency and quality in deployments
    • Ensure all releases are compliant with SOX and other regulatory requirements, maintaining robust governance processes
    • Lead release activities within an Agile framework, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams to align release schedules with sprint cycles
    • Identify potential risks in the release process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact
    • Act as the primary point of contact for release-related activities, providing clear communication to stakeholders across the organization
    • Implement and enforce change management processes to ensure changes are reviewed, approved, and documented
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the release process, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies
    What we expect from you:
    • 5+ years of release management experience
    • 2+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform and ecosystem
    • Proven experience with any Salesforce CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, AutoRabit, Flosum)
    • Strong understanding of SOX compliance and experience implementing SOX controls in a release management context
    • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., GitHub) 
    • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile framework 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex release scenarios
    Will be an advantage:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience 
    • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce App Builder or Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer are highly desirable
