PKI Certificate Management - Security Identity Engineer

Role Description

We are looking for a Sr. PKI Engineer that can help us shape the global strategy of our services moving forward and support a cloud first strategy.

In this role you will work with internal and external certificate management (PKI), with systems like Venafi and Active Directory Certificate Services and be our subject matter experts across multiple fields.

You will meet with internal collaborators to evangelize and promote the use of these centrally managed Identity services, promote best practices and advanced security controls with application owners and server support resources.

Main Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

• Leads projects priorities, deadlines, and outcomes.
• Utilises deep knowledge of site reliability, software engineering, programming languages, tooling, frameworks, infrastructure and systems for each task.
• Leads designs of software components, systems, and features to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of LSEG's services.
• Leads sustainable incident response and production improvements for LSEG.
• Provides mentorship and advice to other team members on leading availability and performance of critical services, building automation to prevent problem recurrence, and building automated responses for non-exceptional service conditions.
• Mentors and trains other team members on design techniques and coding standards, and cultivate innovation and collaboration.
• Writes and reviews highly optimised and accurate code for LSEG products and solutions and provides feedback and suggested improvements to team members.
• Partners with architects to decompose a solution for technology systems and products
• Is regarded as the point of contact in their domain by showing significant depth of knowledge and expertise in technology and develops knowledge other domains to act on linkages and dependencies.
• Proactively continues to build and apply relevant domain knowledge that may relate to workflows, data pipelines, business policies, configurations and constraints
• Supports essential processes while ensuring high quality standards are met

Required Skills:

• Microsoft Certificate Services or Venafi Certificate Platform Experience
• Experience using Public and Private Certificate Authorities
• Microsoft Active Directory / Azure AD integration
• Windows Server Support
• Microsoft Azure Certifications
• AWS and Azure Cloud PKI management
• Security Certifications (CISM, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, PMP)
• Orchestration / Kubernetes Experience
• Load Balancers and/or zScaler integrations
• Service Now experience
