Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in gathering and analysing business requirements.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Solid understanding of data analysis concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with other data visualization tools.
• Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at Hazel Heartwood, you will be responsible for:
• Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements related to data analysis and reporting.
• Conduct thorough analysis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of data needs.
• Technical Analysis: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models. Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of data solutions.
• Data Visualization with Power BI: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Provide insights into data trends, patterns, and outliers through effective visualizations.
• Data Quality Assurance: Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to address any data quality issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists, to understand data requirements and deliver timely insights.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analysis and visualization.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
