Hamilton Central Europe și-a început activitatea în România în anul 2013, prin producția de seringi microlitrice și este cea mai mare locație din Europa a grupului Hamilton, după Elveția, în care compania are și activități de producție.

În prezent, pe lângă seringile de înaltă precizie, portofoliul de produse dezvoltate și realizate în România include pompe de dozaj, module de pipetare și accesorii pentru laboratoarele analitice și de cercetare, precum și accesorii pentru ventilatoarele Hamilton Medical, utilizate în secțiile de terapie intensivă din întreaga lume.

De la deschiderea din 2013, echipa din România a crescut în mod constant, având în prezent un număr de peste 400 de angajați, iar numărul acestora este în continuă creștere.

De-a lungul anilor compania a realizat constant investiții importante, atât în spații moderne de lucru, cât și în tehnologii de producție de ultimă generație. După înființarea unui departament performant de prelucrări mecanice în 2016, în anul 2022 a dezvoltat un departament de prelucrare tablă, unul dintre cele mai performante din piață în acest moment.

În anul 2023, la Timișoara a fost înființat un hub global de dezvoltare software, care contribuie la soluțiile diviziei de Robotică a Companiei Hamilton, iar în anul 2024 a deschis un hub de Regulatory& Vigilance, care este suport global pentru Hamilton Medical.

Proven experience in leading engineering teams – at least 2 years
Leadership skills and team oriented
Experience in Sheet Metal fabrication – is a plus
Technical background (mechanic)
Technical drawing knowledge
University degree
Good English skills, German is a plus
CAD, Microsoft Office and an ERP system (D365 or other)
Well organized person, self-responsible
Problem solving attitude, with communication skills

Manages the Design Engineering team within the Product Care Sheet Metal Processing Department to achieve specific KPIs
Recruits and selects, together with the Human Resources department, subordinate personnel
Performs actions to verify the way of working, to identify potential areas for improvement of activities for the subordinate teams and identifies solutions to increase the degree of fulfillment of the established objectives
Responsible for the selection, evaluation, rewarding and motivating of subordinate staff, according to internal objectives
Develops and implements the training plan of subordinate employees
Responsible for the accuracy of ERP data specific to its area of responsibility
Provide and supports the implementation of new products
Manage 2D and 3D drawings
Periodically checks the degree of workload of employees regarding daily, weekly, monthly or annual tasks and takes measures to redistribute tasks when necessary
Continually analyzes the activity of the subordinate department and is responsible for bringing to the attention of the management the problematic aspects related to the activity as a whole as well as possible risks in the short, medium or long term
Is part of the ECO validation committee and proposes methods of testing, validation and deadline for completing the changes related to the process
Ensure cooperation with other departments in the company
Reports, informs and escalates according to internal procedures
