Senior Java Engineer (17.000 RON NET)

What We’re Looking For:

Extensive Experience: 5+ years in Java programming within an enterprise environment, with expertise in JUnit/Spock.
Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in agile environments on large-scale enterprise products.
Front-End Skills: 2+ years of experience with React JS and other front-end technologies like TypeScript, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, and HTML5.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with IDE & CI tools such as GIT, Gradle, Jenkins, Maven, and JUnit. Good SQL and data modeling skills for RDBMS like Oracle.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to coach, mentor, and effectively communicate in English.

What You’ll Do:

Design and develop robust back-end applications using Java, and create REST APIs that power high-performance systems.
Design and implement intuitive front-end web UIs with a focus on exceptional UX.
Champion best practices to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable services.
Drive performance improvements and optimization throughout the software development lifecycle.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with multi-platform environments (Linux/Unix/Windows), Docker containerization, and cloud technologies like AWS Lambda.
Background in the insurance sector and familiarity with IT product development environments.
Work Schedule: Hybrid model – 3 days from home, 2 days from the office. Remote work available for candidates not based in Bucharest.
