    A Snapshot of Your Day
    As part of the Enterprise Data and Platform Service team, you will be responsible for rolling out the enterprise Data Catalog to the different domains. As a Product Owner and Service Manager, you will work closely together with the catalog Product Manager. Together you will collaborate with different stakeholders from business and data governance roles to guide the development team and assure the catalog meets the requirements of the different stakeholders to improve data discovery, data governance and the data shopping experience. You will also support different governance programs like the Data Mesh implementation and rollout. Now that the seed has been planted, we are looking for you to take the endeavor to the next level and drive the company wide rollout over the next years.

    How You'll Make an Impact
    • Leading the data catalog implementation and rollout in close collaboration with the data catalog Product Manager as well as improving the value the catalog creates for the organization by increasing usage and footprint of the data catalog through onboarding additional use-cases
    • Responsibility for catalog rollout roadmap execution, budgeting and timeline as well as coordinating internal and external members of the global implementation team
    • Managing contracts with external suppliers for licenses and implementation team as well as driving detailed project and service planning activities and communicating on project progress to engagement manager
    • Working together with different stakeholders from Data Governance, Data Consumers or IT roles during requirements gathering and management
    • Understanding business needs and translate them into architecture requirements as well as ability to balance requirements of the business need with business value
    • Providing product and implementation expertise to recommend best ways on how to implement features and how to use the system, identify scope gaps, advise on workaround solutions when applicable
    • Helping to coordinate the operations team with strategic directions and support in case of escalations
    • Being part of an inspiring team of real data science thought leaders and experts within the ED&AA global team and will be a valuable contributor
    What You Bring
    • Degree in one of the following fields: Computer science, data science, business informatics, business administration, engineering or related as well as hands on experience in Metadata Management and related Data Management fields
    • Experience in driving international application rollouts using agile methodologies as well as with implementing and configuring Collibra Data Catalog features
    • Knowledge on building workflows and metadata ingestion interfaces as well as Data Mesh and Data Product implementation experience is a plus
    • Experienced in Product/Application Ownership, Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Business or IT Consulting or similar as well as ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications
    • Excellent analytical skills and profound expertise in making data-driven decisions and communicating the results of analyses as well as extensive hands-on experience in working collaboratively with product team members such as: product management, implementation team, data engineering, data governance, etc.
    • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills along as well as ability to navigate easily in a global & multicultural environment
    • Result-driven and ownership mindset, excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders as well as passion for data and analytics, and driving data value across all parts of an organization and ecosystems
    • Fluent in both spoken and written English
