About you: 
You are a self-motivated, technically minded individual with a passion for data and databases. A collaborative team player, you support ongoing and new projects, guide team members, and thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment, prioritizing and coordinating work effectively.

Day-to-day, you will: 
• Support and improve products by working on the data services team, engaging with stakeholders, and promoting data-driven insights.
• Contribute to a centralized data platform, managing data from raw states to model-ready metrics, and ensuring automation for consistent data delivery.
• Write clean, well-structured code, maintain development standards, and engage in requirement discussions, risk analysis, and defect resolution.
• Promote quality, support sprint deliverables, and provide guidance through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on training to upskill the team.

Your skills and experiences might also include:  
• Proficient in data engineering platforms, particularly spark-based environments and the Lakehouse concept, with preferred qualifications in Databricks. Strong skills in SQL and Python, and extensive experience with Azure Data Factory and related Azure technologies.
• Experienced in leveraging diverse data sources for ingestion, designing and implementing end-to-end pipelines, and applying version control and CI/CD practices. Knowledgeable in Delta Lake and modern data lake architecture.
• Skilled in data modeling, including Power BI data modeling within a data lake, and implementing comprehensive test processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Familiar with using work and issue tracking tools such as Azure DevOps.
