    Requirements

    Your skills and experiences might also include:
    • 2+ years PQE experience with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
    • Chartered accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification and strong knowledge of Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis.
    • Specific and detailed knowledge of applying IFRS15/FRS102 arising from previous experience in a large accounting firm and/or the Finance team of a multinational business (preferably SaaS business)
    • SQL experience preferred

    Responsibilities

    Day-to-day, you will:
    1. Revenue accounting:
    • Ensure month-end close is completed in a timely manner
    • Lead month-end close activities related to Revenue, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records including, posting journals, accruals, preparing reconciliations etc.
    • Preparing, monitoring and maintaining divisions assigned ensuring reconciliations, ageing, revenue recognition etc. is correct
    • Prepare and review revenue related journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports


    2. Process Improvement:
    • Assist in the implementation of new ERP tool and migrating existing revenue practises
    • Identifying opportunities to improve revenue accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance globally
    • Assist in the implementation of revenue recognition policies in line with FRS 102 and IFRS 15
    3. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the financial reporting team to provide accurate and timely information for external reporting requirements
    • Work closely with the billing and credit control team to plan and manage delivery of accurate and timely invoicing of customers
    • Collaborate with finance teams, business units, and departments to gather necessary financial data and ensure alignment in reporting processes
    • Work with IT and systems teams to optimize Rev Rec process
    4. Financial Analysis:
    • Assist in analysing financial results, trends, and variances to provide insights to management.
    • Support strategic decision-making through the provision of accurate financial information.
    5. Audit
    • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address audit queries effectively
    • Support external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations in a timely manner
